History
Our club owes its existence to its founding members and the McNear family, who donated sufficient land for an 18-hole course. Due to fiscal constraints, the founding members initially built just 9 holes in 1922. Brainard Jones, a famous local architect, whose many fine homes are scattered throughout west Petaluma, designed the clubhouse. During the depression, a portion of the Club's property was sold to raise needed money. The original nine holes were redesigned at that time and have enjoyed minor enhancements over the years.
